Working with Lee on my debut novel's audiobook was a great first experience with a narrator. She was incredibly communicative, provided me with a welcome package that was very informative and made the process smooth and easy. The obvious love for Lee's craft that she put into the production for my novel was gratifying, as a self published author to see that passion reflected back makes my heart happy. Working with Lee opened doors that I didn’t know existed. "De Soto at Dusk" was the book I always wanted to do: The story that was different from all the others I wrote or would write; a sad tale from a child's perspective with an uplifting ending..Lee conveyed that story perfectly! This book was a good fit with Lee's educational background and at times you can hear the teacher/parental voice coming through perfectly. Lee was able to bring those characters to life better than I could have simply in print...To this day it remains my favorite audio interpretation of any of my stories!
